When I decided to paint this very traditional subject, I wanted to creat two life size figures. The result is that these are large paintings of nudes. Each one is painted on two separate canvasses (each measuring 1 metre square). This makes each figure approximately life size on a 2m x 1 m canvas.

They look great when hung together on on a large wall.
